During the 2013 Dyno Conference awards were given out throughout the black tie dinner on Saturday evening. Of course it is important to all of the Dyno offices that their efforts do not go unrecognised and are rewarded. Having previously won the award of Franchise of the year, this year Met Serve Ltd won the Dyno Plumbing Health and Safety award – for having the best Health and Safety record over the past 12 months.
We are very proud of winning this award and would like to thank British Gas and Dyno Headquarters for their H&S tips and guidance. Most importantly though we must thank and commend our Engineers and our Health and Safety Manager, Ross Peters, for all their efforts in keeping themselves and their colleagues safe. The job of an emergency plumber certainly has its risks. There is potential of an accident on every job, either to our Engineer or customer. It takes a dedicated, committed and safety conscious team to have no lost time injuries over a 12 month period. With safety being the heart of everything we do this award means a great deal to us. However we cannot be complacent as one accident is too many. Hence we continuously train our team on H&S matters and invest in Personal Protection Equipment constantly.
